CHECK IN & BOOKING POLICY
18 February 2004 ALL FEES ARE PAYABLE IN ADVANCE
i.e. ON
CHECK IN for short term guests with a stay of less than 2 weeks.
Longer term guests fees payable weekly in advance. All units to be vacated by 10am on
day of departure unless prior arrangements have been made for late checkout.
Since the Credit Card reform,
payments made by American Express with incur a 3.25% surcharge. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, supplied only for overnight. When used, we do not refill. DEPOSIT, REFUND AND CANCELLATION
POLICY A deposit of one night’s accommodation required to confirm bookings. Quoted prices are firm upon receipt of deposit. A deposit of one week’s accommodation is required to confirm a booking 3 weeks or more. Credit Card details can be given as deposit, which is held or processed as arranged for the booking, then balance paid as stated above. CANCELLATIONSIf accommodation is fulfilled and booking taken, then Cancellation is not possible – any night cancelled will not be refunded. A consideration will be given for emergency circumstances. CONTRACTORS making long term
verbal or written bookings at an agreed weekly tariff, if 100% occupied and 2
weeks notice NOT given, a cancellation fee is charged which is determined on the
duration booked for. The fees below
apply depending on the circumstances and reason for leaving. 15% Cancellation Fee applied to
the whole of the booking if cancelled one month prior to arrival. 20% Cancellation Fee applies if
cancelled 3 weeks prior to arrival. 30% Cancellation Fee applies if
cancelled 2 weeks prior to arrival. Adjustments can be considered,
depending on the circumstances. If booking is cancelled one week
prior to arrival date, the deposit is non-refundable. For OVERNIGHT bookings a deposit
is required. Credit Card details
accepted to secure a booking. If
not cancelled within 48 hours of booking deposit is withheld or Credit Card
processed to required amount agreed on at the time of booking. If full occupancy NO CANCELLATION IS ACCEPTED unless 3 days
in advance – NO REFUND on deposit. Cancellations
must be in writing by email, letter or fax for proof of cancellation – Date
taken from when received. No notice
of cancellation forfeits complete deposit.
During Peak Period deposit is non-refundable. During Peak Tourist Season,
Christmas, New Year, School Holidays, Easter and Long Weekends, when a booking
is made and deposit held, if 100% occupancy and other bookings have been
refused, cancellation is not allowed. Any
phone booking accepted becomes a binding agreement.
If Christmas, Easter, Long
Weekends or School Holidays then deposit is processed, confirmation forwarded
with receipt and price quoted for term of stay.
Deposit is not refunded. PLEASE NOTE: Guests who choose to leave their rubbish and/or washing up
for housemaids, will be charged a $13.00 surcharge as Housemaids are not
employed to clean up these items. LINEN is supplied for Unit use
only. Towels NOT to be taken to
pool or beach – charges for damaged towels etc.
Towels changed Monday, Wednesday & Friday for weekly guests, Sheets
provided to change weekly. Unit
serviced weekly for bookings of 8 days or longer.
EXTRA Charges for EXTRA Linen. All Units are Non-Smoking inside,
Smoking is permitted on the balconies. Guests who smoke inside after
being informed will be charged a cleaning fee of $20.00 for extra cleaning. Mark & Tanya Gaudry, Shane
